As a scientific organization, the Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies needs to collect personal data as part of its mission and is responsible for processing such data under current legislation.
The Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies is strongly committed to protecting your personal data and respecting the exercise of your right to privacy.
This policy helps you understand how we collect, use, process and protect your personal data, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) of April 27, 2016 (GDPR) and other applicable legislation.

Personal data
Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, such as by name, photography, identification number, or any other specific element of identity provided for in current legislation.

Entity responsible for processing
The entity responsible for collecting and processing data is the Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies, considering the nature, scope, context and purposes of data processing, as well as the risks to the rights and freedoms of individuals, in accordance with the GDPR.

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

The data protection officer of the Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies performs, among others, the following functions:

• Informs and advises the Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies or the subcontractor, as well as the employees who process data, regarding their obligations under the GDPR or applicable legislation;

• Monitors compliance of data processing with the data protection provisions of the European Union or Member States and with the policies of the controller or processor regarding the protection of personal data;

• Provides advice, when requested, regarding the assessment of the impact on data protection and monitors its implementation, in accordance with Article 35 of the GDPR;

• Cooperates with the supervisory authority, an entity that you may consult and is your point of contact for questions related to data processing.

Collection of personal data
The Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies is committed to protecting the privacy of users of its services, and to this end takes care to develop/use technology that offers the best guarantees of security and privacy.
In most cases, users are given the possibility to browse the websites of the Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies without having to provide personal data. Sometimes, however, some essential information is collected and stored for the provision and access to services.

Processing of personal data
The Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies respects your right to privacy and does not collect personal information other than the personal data you voluntarily provide us by filling out a form or other legitimate means for this purpose. The information collected is for use by the Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies in accordance with the purposes indicated at the time of collection or for compliance with legal obligations.
The information collected will be treated confidentially and may be accessed by a restricted group of employees/collaborators of the Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies, in compliance with their professional duties, within the precise limits and for the purposes of carrying out their functions.

If you withdraw your consent, this does not compromise the lawfulness of the data processing carried out based on the prior consent that was given.
The holder of personal data also has the right to be notified in the event of a breach of personal data, in accordance with and under the terms of the GDPR.

Applicability
Generally, this privacy and personal data processing policy applies to all services provided by the Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies, without prejudice to other policies, agreements and legislation applicable in more specific contexts of collection and processing of personal data.

Changes to this policy
The Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies may change the privacy and personal data processing policy whenever technically or legally justifiable. The changes apply to new processing of personal data and, if they have an impact on the processing of personal data already collected, the Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies will inform the data subject of these changes so that he or she can give his or her explicit consent or exercise his or her right to object or erasure.

No information is intentionally collected that can be used to identify website visitors. This information is collected with the aim of understanding how our users use the website, so that we can improve the quality and usefulness of the services we provide. Notwithstanding the anonymous information collected and processed on our Web Analytics platform, technical information about your visit(s) may be collected by the technological infrastructure that supports the system. Portuguese Society for Constructivist Psychotherapies does not share this information with third parties, without prejudice to the legal requirements imposed by current legislation (i.e., this information may be shared with the competent public authorities, in compliance with Portuguese and European legislation).
